working in the garden

I said this was a blog of the garden, but since I last wrote not a lot has been going on mainly due to the weather and all the preparations for Christmas.
During the last 2years we have worked very hard to get the Allotment looking like a garden. I have started a gardening club - the Growing Gang.
It is a very small group at the moment.
We have had a good year, loads of veg for people to take home and for the
Harvest Festival.

This my very First Blog - you could sing CONGRATULATIONS to have got this far !!
I really love life at the moment -so I am probably heading for a fall, but I dont mind because Jesus is in my heart & life is good.
It was our Wedding Anniversary in the week and we still love each other as much today as on the day we got Married, we have rows & fallings out like any other couple, but I feel like we have achieved a really good thing - that after 22 years the love is still here.
As a family we all go to the Salvation Army Church & have been members for about 10 years.
I have been a Chistian since I was a Teenager & 2 of mine had the experiance of the Holy Spirit coming into their lives at "Soul Surviver"Christian camp last summer.
I am now the "Adult Ministries Officer "for Ashford and a "District Pastor" which a year ago I would have said was impossible. Sometimes I think God has a very strange sense of humour, as He has dragged me screaming & kicking all the way to the Mercy Seat !
